Eyes crusted shut?

I just found one of two month old chickens with his eyes crusted shut. What could it be ? Concerned

It could be just regualr eye crust some chicks get. I would take a warm damp napkin and slowy and carefully massage around the eye and try to take most of the crust off. What color is the eye crust? Can you supply a picture of it?

If there are no other signs of illness, it could be as simple as something got in her eye. Chicken dig around in the dirt, take dust baths, and pine shavings are dusty. Hopefully this is the answer.

or it could be related to a respiratory infection/illness, hopefully not
