Eyes not right in 5 week old chick

Anyone ever seen anything like this? - both eyes look like the eyeball is set far back in the opening - this is a 5 week old Black Orp chick.....the eyes did not look like this 2 weeks ago.....the Buff Wy's eyes are slightly like this but not as severe.....they both eat and drink fine........

Any ideas??????

My 8-yr-old has an eye like that, and hers happened after she was pecked in it. Not sure if it's the same thing though.
