So Ive been thinking....

I LOVE my drake who has green eyes. But all my other ducks have brown eyes. What color eyes do your ducks have? Do you think It would be possible, if you could find ducks with eyes other than brown, and have a flock of ducks with no brown eyes?

that would be SO COOL! I think I migth try that next summer when my flock is more established and I have cash to spend on buying purdy eyed ducks.

Mine have brown, but my fawn & white runner has blue. Green you say?

My Silver Appleyard drake has itty bitty teeny tiny tufts of feathers on his legs, and two of his offspring have them too... They're crosses, but I'm thinking about breeding this into a couple of them, since there aren't any feather-footed duck breeds that I know of.

All mine have brown eyes, but I think it would be cool to have other eye colors. I wonder though if breeding say green eyed to green eyed would affect anything (health, vision, etc).

my runners have brown eyes

the pekins ofcourse have blue eyes, pretty much everyone else has brown eyes, 'scept for my "scovy drake who has yellwoish amber eyes.

NETTIE! lol, i havent seen you on here in a while! Im sad to say that out of the three ducklings I got from you only one is healthy. he black swed died from not being able to pass her eggs, and the Cayuge is currently in quarintine from a dog attack. The magpie is in great condition though!

ill see if I can get a close up of my DBM's eyes when my mom gets home with her camera - it takes the best shots.
