will tyhe vaccine keep in the fridge? Even after its first use? or do I need to buyt 2 bottles, one for the first time and one for 4 weeks later? And where do you get the Gallimycin, aureomycin, and the chloramphenical eye ointment?

Sounds like you are on top of things! Be sure you not only change your shoes, but maybe put pair of coveralls on to cover up your clothes before tending to the chicks. They seem to be hit the hardest with this stuff. My older birds all pulled through okay with treatment, it was just devastating for the younger ones. Their undeveloped systems just couldn't handle it.
