Not really good for the chicken to be drinking ACV full time, even if the active stuff.

It's 1 tbs in a gallon... It's usually once a week. Sorry if it seemed like I do it every day.

I also put garlic cloves in the waterers and sometimes some fresh herbs.

My waterers are changed out daily, I never let water sit in a waterer for more than 24 hours.

I don't cook mine Just have them as pets and the eggs are an added benefit. I'm thinking about doing meat birds though some day. I don't even eat meat, but my family and dogs do.

I don't raise meat birds, per se, but eat cockerels from hatching replacement layers and older hens.

I want to hatch eggs next year! I'm trying to learn as much as I can now. I'm sure when I do that the cockerals will go in the freezer!
