Another egg hatched today.....

I now have 12 chooks.....

Where will the madness end????

Good luck i'm out of room and cages!!! lol and just hatched out three chicks, 4 quail and had a broody hatch some chicks two days ago

Twelve chooks! Aaaaah, i remember the days of having only a couple of chickens. First i had two, then a few more, then i was up to 17. Then they convinced us to move to a place with more land and before i knew it we were up to ONE HUNDRED CHICKENS!

Then i came to my senses (just a little bit) and now we are down to 60. BUT since most are silkies, that number will be up to about a thousand and fifty three in no time.

There is no where to run! No where to hide! Remember the Star Trek episode The Trouble With Tribbles? Silkies are Tribbles in disguise!
