How did your flock annoy you today?

We had this happen once, and we found 10 eggs from 9 hens in one day. I always take a picture of the eggs and log them, so that definitely wasn't a misscount.

I believe I've read somewhere that very occasionally an egg may take slightly longer to go through the hen which results in 2 eggs within 24 hours. The hen in question probably didn't lay an egg the day before.

Ok. So somebody laid an egg on the sh*t shelf again. Sigh. I think it’s a new layer. This egg is an anomaly. It’s powdery. It almost looks white. We have all brown egg layers or EE. The tip of the shell is cracked but the sack is intact. It’s kind of huge when all others have been medium to small. I put 2 grocery store eggs next to it for reference. The other egg is from one of our hens.
