Sometimes, things just don't work out, or don't work out how we plan. This is a thread to document those times that ended up at least slightly funny. I'll go first.

I keep telling my young kids to put the clip back on the chip bags, and to fold them a certain way so bugs don't get into them. Each of them displays varying levels of compliance. I don't expect perfection, but this is definitely not it.

I'm not sure if she tried and failed or just didn't care, could be either for her. Did she think the presence of the clip would scare the bugs away? Cause I really don't understand how she looked as that when she was done and thought it would work.

I think I laughed for 15 minutes when I saw this.

Something that "ended up at least slightly funny" for me...? Hmm, OH alright! I've got one!

*Ahem, so...we all know the feeling of when we do something the wrong way and it ends up working better than the old way you did it before, right? Well, this feeling came upon me recently, one night when it was my turn to make supper.
I think my brain was just lagging that day because I was making one of those Hamburger Helper dishes, I believe one of the tuna ones, and I was at the point of where you can add random stuff into it to make it your own sorta thing. My mind was, for some reason, on the topic of Mac N' Cheese and I sometimes put lime juice and/or lemon juice into it to give it kinda tangy zest taste to it.
I accidentally put lime juice into the tuna helper dish. I caught myself before I put a whole lot into it.
My mind was going, "Awwww, CRAP! I can't start over on this now! They'll be home soon!" Or whatever...
So, I suddenly decided to try some for myself, and LET ME TELL YA, it was actually REALLY good!

So, yeah it was kinda funny how that simple mistake ended up making the Tuna Helper even better. I'll remember to do this next time, too XD

OMG! I never thought of adding lime or lemon juice to my mac an cheese! Now I'm going to have to go and try it.

We normally add onion and/or garlic powder, bacon bits, and sometimes extra cheese to the box mac n cheese to make it flavorful. Or tuna and mayo/miracle whip for tuna-mac. Turns out tasty.

Growing up my mom always made cheese sauce from a roux and like a pound of sharp cheddar, and it was to-die-for! I made it a few times for my kids because I love it, only to find out they prefer box mac n cheese! Uncultured savages. I've no idea what they're thinking. Heavily doctoring the box mix was my compromise. They make it themselves and they're eating, so I'm calling it good enough. :)
