Hahaha!!! Oh poor baby! There's a dog swimming place near me, they have ramps that go down into swimming pools, and they have classes that teach the dog to go down into the ramp and eventually swim in the water. Each dog gets its own life vest, they have bumpers to swim after, and lots of dog treats to eat for encouragement. I never knew it was a thing until that place opened up. Super helped my boy learn to swim. Good luck to your boy! Hope he shook it off and kept going!Once we brought our dog Timber to play at a friend’s house. They had a pond with a little dock, and their dog Merlin was running off the dock and jumping into the pond. Timber wasn’t too sure about jumping. He took a couple false starts jogging to the end of the dock, then he gingerly tried to step onto the water with his front feet. He did a nosedive into the pond and came up looking very shocked! He crawled to the bank looking very subdued and bedraggled, and Merlin came over to him to see if he was ok.
