Recently got 2 orpington chicks at 1 day old. Placed under 2 Broodie wydottes, they are great co-parenting mothers. One of the chicks is great running around, learning to feed, drinking, eating.
The other though seems weaker somehow. She is 5 days old now, eating and drinking but seems unsteady on their feet, pasty bum everyday(which I am cleaning). She stands still a lot and looks tired. Her wings are spindly rather than fluffy and she likes to hide a lot.
Is she failing to thrive? Should I prepare myself for the worst.
