Failure to thrive?

Picked up four chicks at TSC today. Noticed one that was face planted in the wood chips. The lady threw it in for free. I have

tried electrolytes, egg yolk… it just isn’t getting its bearings.. any other advice? It seems to get up and flail around a little, tried to eat once. It does chirp when awake. Currently nestled up with me a bit.

Maybe just give it time. Keep it warm, dip its beak in the water to help orient it to drinking and drop crumbs of scrambled egg in front of its right eye to help it identify food.

Probably dehydrated so try get it to drink a few drops when you can. So precious!

Well, she passed really quickly. We tried. At least she wasn’t in the bin at TSC when it happened.

She seemed to like being held, so she got that today. Sometimes they just have something wrong I guess.

I’m sorry for your loss. It happens unfortunately. You did good by taking her and doing what you could.
