I just got this baby from McMurray. She’s obviously failure to thrive. I’m hand feeding her electrolytes and egg yolk in a syringe slowly. Anything else I can do for her? Also any guesses on her breed?

Is she a silkie? Did you order any bantams? I would give her 2-3 drops of Poultry NutriDrench or Poultry Cell, and dip her beak into some water and egg yolk, as often as you can. The give some chick feed mixed with water in a mush. Does she have any stuck puck (pasty butt) on her vent? Is she warm enough? Maybe it is a blue silkie? Here is an old thread about some:

I don’t know if she’s a silkie or not. I didn’t order bantams but I did get a surprise chick so I think that’s what this one is the surprise. She doesn’t have pasty butt and I have the heat lamp on her. I think she must be a bantam of some kind. She is so much smaller than the others and kept getting pushed out from under the heat. I separated her from the rest of the flock. (She’s also not walking at all and just lies on her side. Doesn’t look like splay leg tho)
