I have a bantam polish rooster. I was preparing him for show and he kept fainting. When I was plucking his feathers he fainted once and when I was bathing him he fainted again. When he faints his head just goes limp, eyes shut. Then he’ll wake up like nothing happened. Is this normal? I’m guessing not.
Thank you

Definitely not normal. I have had polish play dead under extreme stress like when a dog tries to grab them. Yours may have a heart problem, but maybe he's just frightened by all the experiences. :hmm

My Polish rooster, it utterly terrified.... of everything, I've watched him sometimes and thought he looks like he's going to faint, but then doesn't, however he's only 12 weeks old. I think as a breed they are a very very timid breed. I guess its just a case of going really slowly and very gently with him.

Good luck
