I have the opportunity to buy them but have never in my life spent so much on an animal.
I am a sucker for color but also they're large well built kids and originally I was just looking for a boer buck because I have a lamancha x nubian doe who always has big thick kids and I started to wonder what her babies with a boer would be like but the seller said they may be willing to part with 3 spotted doelings as well. (And tbh meat goats sell better here, but I'm emotionally attached to my dairy herd)They want $1,000 each and I cringe at the price tag but also no one near me that I know of has goats like these.
Owner said they can be registered but he (or she?) usually doesn't mess with it.
Anyway, opinions on if they're worth it or am I just being a sucker for pretty colors?

In my opinion, these goats are built more like Nubians than Boers. They don't look blocky enough to be good Boers but that could be from the angle the pictures were taken. If I were you I would go on the Bear Creek Boer web site and check out their goats. They don't sell dapples but they have a good web site and good goats. They have a lot of pictures of their herd and goats they have for sale. The site is fun to look at. In the event that I don't have the name of the site right, go to google and plug in Boer goats for sale in Lebanon MO. That should do it. In addition, google "dapple Boer goats for sale" and see what you come up with. That will give you an idea of prices.

Thank you, will look them up

IF they are male and female you could breed them and get your money back down on the line...
