I just called the main meat processor in my area and they don't process turkeys! Drats!!

There is a nearby Mennonite family that I thought about asking - I think they'd process them for either $$ or a bird.

Is it fair to offer them one of the toms in exchange for processing 4 others? Or what amount of $$ is reasonable (per turkey)?

Thanks!

There was one in NC that charged $7 a bird for turkeys. It really depends on what area you live in as to a fair price. We do our own processing for our use, the price is very right.
