I have several people buying my quail eggs now. I am selling the eggs for $3/dozen or $10 for a week's worth (I got 2 short of 5 dozen for a guy today). Is this a good price? Too high? Too low? What do you sell yours for?

Thanks

what kind of quail ? if they are courtnix I personally wouldn't pay more then 20 cents a egg. Bobwhite depending on the color any where from 30 to 50 cents a egg.

They are coturnix. So it sounds like the pricing is close to right... I know I paid $4/dozen when I started out. That is why I priced mine at 3.

I would say that's too low, but not by much. It really depends on the area you live in. I sell mine for $6 for 1 day's eggs, and that's between 20 and 24 eggs normally.

I sell my eggs for eating 2.00 a doz or 5 dollars for 24 with the plastic case. If they give me the case back after they are done eating the eggs I refund 1.00. I get to recycle the cartons and help pay for newones they way. So far it has worked for me.
