Fairly urgent, please help

That's killer crook, gonna check those out, here's hoping! You know, I wish I was good enough to repurposed used wood. There's tons down here due to hurricane, but my skills are so limited that I need to be told every little step

You will do fine. I have never built anything before. I had a 100+ year old crooked coop to work with. It's still old and crooked, but super sturdy. I used old scraps out of the barn to patch here, seal holes there. It's pretty funky looking and far from perfect, but the chickens like it just fine and they are safe. I've been adding "features" here and there. I honestly think that building a new coop from scratch would have been far easier. You will do fine -- don't be too critical of yourself. I think you'll be happily surprised at what you will accomplish.

I just googled "free chicken coop plans" and came up with these. Take a look. Some link didn't have truly free plans, but I checked some of these.

All you need is a box, that is weatherproof, and critter proof. Don't overthink this, remember. They are chickens, and their brains are the size of a pea. They will love whatever you make for them.
They prever to perch off the ground but they wont die if they cant.

Buy 4 sheets of plywood, some 2x4's and a couple heavy duty hinges. Put the plywood on their edges so you have a 8 foot square (4 pieces). Then make your lid by using 2 of the sheets of plywood. Use your heavy duty hinges to lift and lower the lid.
This will get your though the storm, and you can reuse everything but the 2x4's that you cut up for framing.

If that is still too much money, then go to home depot and buy some cardboard boxes, and keep them inside during the storm.
You can build their permanent pen later. You just need them to survive Sunday.

Do not let the poop board be your stopper! It is very easy to make. It is literally just a piece of plywood and the only hard part is how it is supported. If you have a coop plan that you really like that does not have a poop board, just make a thread in this forum like "How to add poop board to coop?" and someone will have a great idea. I think for the board it would greatly differ based on what sort of roost area the coop has.
