Fairy Babies

These have been my most recent hobby!
I started making them over a year ago and people really seem to like them.
I have been working with polymer clay for quite a few years and fairy babies just fit right into my intrests!
I just wanted to share! Enjoy!

















This one has real bug wings... he is my favorite! So tiny!

I love the one with the feather wings between the pine cones. I could imagine something like that in a weatherproof version hidden in a quiet corner of the yard. Wouldn't that be just so precious to find as a kid exploring the yard?

I thought about hiding a few in the woods behind my house! I would have loved to find one as a kid!!!

Under one of those big concrete toadstools...

My yard is currently nothing but lawn, working on taking atleast half of it out for a garden. I will have cute things like this!

Tomtom... You might like to plant some rose of sharon... they are trees but dont get really big... and they bloom so pretty. They will add a bit of shade and the "garden" look to the yard (without all the hard work)

Okay... The lady that owns the local shop ordered 10 fairies!!!... When she saw them and held them she ordered 20 MORE!!! WOW!!!

Look waht I made today!
I am still getting use to the paints because I have to paint a very thin layer and bake... layer... bake. I want to see results right away and that is not how it works :/
So she is not perfect, but I think she is cute!
I sculpted her from clay, too.
I still have to make her cloth body...







She has a magnetic binkie to go with her too!! I made it yellow incase I want to make her a him...
