Fairy Egg

I have five pullers who have been laying about a month and today I got my first fairy egg. Is this a cause for concern or not since they have been laying for a month with no problems (I've even had two double yolked eggs!)

I wouldn't be concerned - but are you sure ALL 5 have been laying?

Maybe one has been holding out and this is a first egg

I'm pretty sure all 5 have been laying because most days I get 5 eggs

Then all five must be laying.

You'll see a pattern of large eggs, smaller with each lay, then a day or so without an egg and then the larger ones start again.

When pullets first start to lay they can have a number of "different" eggs - I would not worry , as long as your gals are healthy and happy, just enjoy the adventure. And soon you won't see those tiny eggs at all.
