Fake eggs in the nesting box

I was thinking of using some fake eggs in my bantam hen nesting boxes. Does anyone have experience with this and/or know how to make some bantam sized fake eggs?

I don't think the size of the "eggs" matters much to them. I used golf balls in my nest box.

Golf balls work fine even for bantams. I buy the fake eggs from eggcarton.com

My nests have 2 permanent ceramic eggs in each box.

I have always used ping pong balls. Cheaper than golf balls and a little smaller if you are concerned about size.

Got a pack of six at the store for like two bucks.

I have a golf ball and a ceramic egg in each nesting box. My hens have always dutifully laid their eggs in these nesting boxes. I really don't know if the decoy eggs did any good or not, but I figure they couldn't hurt.
