Fake eggs??? What about a fake chicken?

What if a puppet chicken with a temp controlled heating pad as a belly sits on the eggs. It could secrete moisture from the underside also. It could have a built in alarm for rotation reminders so maybe it clucks every so many hours as a reminder to rotate. It would be like a cute little chicken like stuffed animal that operates as a humidifier when humidity drops below a certain point. I hear about using fake eggs to make a hen go broody. I have not had any luck. No hens will go broody right now.

That'sa cute idea but would be very ddifficult to make and I think Bator's are still easier. The humidity would be the hard part. Probably need to move to a hatcher on day 18.

Maybe for a dry hatch method that might work until day 18.
