There's no specific contest on my mind right now but it has been a thought of mine lately that, is it taken into consideration when choosing/setting up contests, those that won't be able to enter?
There is often a lot of contests that are just completely out of reach to me because they focus on the season, of which I live in the opposite to what BYC is run on. And yes, I know I could try saving up pictures but I also don't live anywhere where there's "extremes" of the seasons. Leaves during autumn, snow during winter/around Christmas, these are things I just do not have.
So I guess my point, can this be kept in mind when deciding contests? Especially if there's going to be less contests going forward, can we be careful to make sure there is at least some contests that don't exclude people? Like the photography focused contests such as the egg contests and I seem to remember a long time ago there being a "flat lay" contest, etc?
