I missed it!! Got unexpected company last night!! It was gonna be my first chicken swap and I was gonna get some easter eggers!!!

I think that the weather did us in.
After a week of very chilly days and grey skies, we got a beautiful, warm and sunny day. I know it was hard for me to pull myself away from my barn/house chore to-do list but I sure am glad that I did.

And I got to hang with Candace and Laurie and meet some very sweet older folks out looking at birds. No buyers but lots of good 'old days' stories.
I consider it a successful day!

Oh, well, I did get some work done around the house and I didn't succumb to chicken math. I'm looking forward to the show at Doswell VA in November. Is anyone going to the show on Oct 30th in Morganton, NC?
