I know this question has been asked before. But I'm so nervous. I stayed up all night last night fretting anxiously over the temperature being 42 degrees F with the 8 week old turkey poults. They were perfectly fine this morning after having snuggled down in the coop nesting boxes, in the bedding with some chickens, like they have done several nights in a row with no problems. The coop is noticeably warmer than outside, if I stick my hand in there while it's occupied. But it's going down to 35 tonight, and slowly creeping down to 28 by Saturday. Should I stick a light bulb in there tonight? Or just let them acclimate?

(Yes, I know turkeys and chickens together not good. This is only a temporary grow-out situation.)

At 8 weeks old, they should be fully feathered and will be fine without supplemental heat.
