My 6 week old pekin falls down. Can stand and preen just fine About a two weeks ago he was fine and came running to hubby when he let them out of barn and he just kept falling down. Now he has been to the vet withono answers and is still quarentined in the house. He is eating and drinking jyst fine. Poo is "duck" normal. He gets baths and swims just fine. It seems like his right leg is much shorter than his left. When he stands he stands on his right leg with his left extended forward.when he walks his legs tend to cross a bit. But his right leg seems to give out...I guess. Its hard to describe but he appears to crumple on to his right side. Has anyone encountered anything similar?

Leg problems are often associated with niacin deficiency.

Especially if he is on chick starter, I would add niacin to drinking water at 150 mg per gallon (Storey's Guide recommended level is 100 to 150), or sprinkle a tablespoon of brewer's yeast on their food.

Ive tried niacin and have started him on duvets electrolytes and vitamins. The vet said not to keep him on one specific vitamin as it could mess with the amount of other vitamins needed to balance him out. I dont know what to do.
