False light in the coop-Is it time to take it out?

Afternoon,
I put a light bulb in my coop over the winter to get the girls to continue to lay. They get up at 4am and went to bed at 6pm.
The time change was just this past weekend and so my question is:

Is it now time to take that light out of the coop?

You need to take it out when the natural daylight length equals your artificial daylight length. If you take the light out before the day lengths are equal, the days getting “shorter” could trigger a molt.

The chickens don’t care about daylight savings time. They care about how long the day is. If you make adjustments be careful to not change the total length of daylight for them.

I've already started adjusting the timer so it comes on later in the morning.....
....because of both the DST and the lengthening days.
