Familiar with Blogger? Got a question...

I remodeled our blog today, but have run into a couple of snags. First, the pages header has two white areas that I cannot get rid of, and then, any links that I have in the posts, are no longer highlighted. I tried changing the color, but all that happened was the post titles changed colors.

Well. I'm pretty sure there's a "link" option in the advanced options for editing the template design. And that white space (Which personally I think looks pretty good and gives a nice break from the green and a little separation) should be fixed by changing the nav bar design under the page elements tab.
