I got a still air incubator and added a fan that is designed for this incubator but fan causes 105 temp at lowest setting I unplugged fan and now holds a steady temp. I read that a fan is a must but this fan causing to be too hot any tips please

What incubator is it?
The fan in my LG changes the temp only a little bit.

It is a hovabator 1602N but I did some more research I had the airflow going the wrong way so I turned fan around and now I'm tying to get temp right

hopefully it works i have never used a fan with my little giant incubator and have still had 90-100% hatch rates

good luck with your hatch

Thanks any tips for a newbie so I can achieve those kind of hatches
Recommended temp? Etc

For quail I run mine right at 100 F and about 50 percent humidity. Then on lockdown I bump the humidity to about 70. Once they start hatching it goes up to about 80 from the hatch. And I run all the vents open.
So far has worked well for quail.

for chickens i keep the temp around 99.5 degrees and i let it drop a little at night since it is not as hot outside for humidity i keep it between 30-40% and at lockdown 50%
