Little One's fangs are digging into his lower lip. Our youngest daughter pointed them out to us.

Is this normal?

Sorry, but no pics - no camera.

Talking about a cat, here.

How old is the cat? The "k-9" teeth continue to grow as the cat ages. If it is young, it is probably just an abnormality (i.e. crooked teeth). If it causes issues you may have to have it removed but it is not normal for it to "dig" in.

That is pretty normal to see the intentation of the upper jaw's k9 teeth in the lower lip. As long as its not making a sore it will be fine. All adult cats that i know of eventually get those marks.

You should go surf the 'net for a bunch of pictures of cat faces, see if your cat is REALLY abnormal. Honestly it sounds to me like exactly the way ALL cats are, once they are past earliest youth -- the lower lip has sort of a ripple in it behind where the top fangs hang down, so that there is mucous membrane (of lower lip) behind the fang rather than fur behind it. If it's something different than this, you might want to consult a vet or at least post a photo here -- but I kind of betcha you will find lots and lots of photos of cats with the same arrangement

Good luck, have fun,
