Picked up four chicks this spring from tractor supply because they seem to be the only location nearby that had any available. Wanted Easter eggers but obviously I don't think that's what we got. Got a pretty good shot of all four together. And I'm beginning to believe we have a group of roosters. At least one of them is trying to Crow.
Want to see what the rest of you think these girls/boys might be?

I'm guessing Easter Egger cockerels.
Or maybe Buckeye cockerels.
[Edit to add: the one with a beard cannot be a Buckeye.]

For at least three of them, you are correct about them being males. They have male-specific saddle feathers, along with the red combs & wattles, and the crowing you heard. So I'm very sure about them.

I'm not quite sure about the one on the lower right. The comb is a lighter color, and I can't see the saddle feathers well enough to be sure of their shape. So it might be a male or it might be a female, and I just can't tell right now. (The comb is also smaller, but it's also a different shape, so the size difference could be caused the same genes that are causing the shape difference. Or the size difference could be caused by a male/female difference. Again, I'm not really sure.)

They look like Rhode Island Reds to me. I could be wrong cause that’s not a breed I’ve kept. They do appear to be cockerels as well.
The color is about right, but Rhode Island Reds have single combs, and these birds do not. So these are not Rhode Island Reds.

All cockerels. They could be Easter eggers, as that is a mixed breed that can look like anything, just has colorful eggs. The one with the beard (fluffy face) definitely does seem like an Easter Egger, as that is common, as many blue egg gene chickens have beards.

The one in the lower right is the only one with no saddle feathers. The others feathers appear to get larger by the day.

Photo of the 1 that may be a female.
