When I ordered my watering nipples, I was bothered by paying what I thought was too much for shipping and handling. After I emailed my comment, I was surprised with a pair of gloves in my order. For me, this set things right. My total was $18.25 for four nipples and 4 extra seals. How do YOU feel about this?

I have been doing business with Farm-Tek for a long time. In my opinion they are the best. Yes, some items may be a bit higher but I don't mind paying a little more for the great customer service and always available advice they offer.

Getting their catalog in the mail is almost as exciting as getting seed catalogs in February in the middle of a blizzard with -20 temperatures!

And they always sneek in a freebie with their orders, and its always something you can actually use!

You can get the nipples cheaper from qcsupply.com with cheaper s&h. But, they do not carry the replacement grommets. I got a pair of gloves from them too.

Yep, I purchased 5 nipples and 5 replacement grommets and paid 20something. I also received a pair of gloves and their verrrrry thick catalog. I personally think they could have been shipped in a plain brown padded envelope for half the cost, but hey-I'm so glad I don't have to dump poopy water out anymore that I would've paid 20.00 a piece!! lol​

I'm annoyed too.

I even told them I didn't want the gloves and catalog stuff. I asked if they could send it to me in a padded envelope and they said nope. that's their shipping minimum charge and that's it...

I still like my waterers though...
