Farriers coming today ....

I love our farrier. He has come even when my horse is not due because the shoes were loose and I had a horse show. Now I do not have to worry about shoes because I just had them pulled because just for a set of front shoes was $85, now with just a trim it is $25. Yeah!!!

I have the best trimmer/farrier out of all of you.
He is great.

It cost me 360.00 for three horses....
draft...shoes only on front...she had a trim and corks put on her old shoes..which were okay

QH...trimmed and all four shoes replaced with corks...his feet are flat and are being corrected...

Arab cross....shoes on the front only...trimmed all four ...replaced shoes and winter pads and corks put on...she has small high hooves that really "ball" up with ice ...she also has a front club foot that needs shoes

We use the road to get to local trails sometimes

I'm not sure about that, Gaited Horse. My farrier actually competes in farrier competitions and was an alternate for the US team at the world championships. BTW, he has TWHs

and oh yes I forgot to mention my farrier is "easy on the eyes'...and plus an all round "nice" guy ...

HAHAH mine beats you all.

He trims for $20. Shoes for $50. Can do an awesome job in 15 minutes.

If I have a sick horse, or foot problems. He will drive out at 3 am to check it out. And give some pain shots, or loosen an absess for free.

He always trims my goats and donkey for free if we ask.

He finds and brings us hay. Because it's hard to get nice stuff in my area.

He is a nice guy. He likes to cuss a bit. But he does a fantastic job, and is a good horse person to know in case of emergentcies.

oh yea thoughs guys love treats, and thoughtful things like drinks and fans, clean feet. my best friends is mine, and as much as my horse it a pain to shoe, I get mine done for dinner and a hug. cores if she only needs a trip he gives me the nippers and tells me I know how to do it. it's kinda funny how my mare is still mad at him for getting onto her the first time he rode her.

the thing he hates is when the owner gives the horse treats while he is working.

keep treating them good, it sound like your all on the farriers liked list.
