Fart Egg, Take a look!

Okay if thats a fart egg i got one last year the size of and peanut M&M what would you call that. No joke it was really that small i have it in and acorn top on my kitchen shelf.

I got one of those yesterday. My dad collects the eggs when I'm at work and he found it right outside the step of the coop and the girls ALWAYS have laid inside the nest boxes. So I can see why they call them fart eggs

Not only are they small but maybe they feel like they just have to fart

and let loose where ever they are!

Here is a bunch of my serama fart eggs! I think the first egg is a wyandotte pullet egg, then a regular serama egg, then a bunch of serama fart eggs. I had a pullet or two that laid them quite consistantly for a while. The smallest one was about the size of my pinky fingernail.

Are you blowing out those little fart eggs? How do you make the holes in the end without breaking them? They are super cute and the Christmas idea was great!

Hi!
That just seems like such a crass name to describe a delightful tiny surprise.
I've found most of mine just laying in the pens and only a few actually in the nest boxes.
I stick them in the frig when I find them and they are dehydrated (empty) in a few months.
You could pierce both ends with a needle and blow them out if you want to use them immediately.
