fart egg ?

What causes a fart egg ? I got my first fart egg this morning and its smaller then my parakeets eggs ! and may ladies are quiet large ! I just really wanted to know what causes it ! and it had a little blood on it and some of my ladies are laying yet ! maybe its a first egg ?

I got one last week from one of my Big Buff Girls. It didn't have a yolk and was smaller than my bantam eggs. I think it is sometimes a glitch in the hens system during the making of that egg.

I believe the usual term is "wind" egg.
