his misbehaving pullets. I got 6 chickens free off CL this spring,3 red star pullets/3 columbian rock cockerels and the "main" cockerel, Juan(other 2 called the "juanettes") actually got the 3 pullets(he was raised with, the older hens kick his butt)out of my garden for me. I noticed the girls in the raised garden and went to chase them out and they were being difficult and I heard Juan doing his alarm call and he actually came running, jumped in garden and chased them out for me. He didn't attack me at all. he herded them away from trouble????? Too cool.
