Fast maturing? Is it possible? (Crested Polish)

We have 6 3 week old Crested Polish week old chicks and my parents told me that they heard what sounded like a tiny crow. Of course me, not wanting to believe them, decided to post here instead of stand outside in the rain waiting for it to make noise again.

Is it possible for one of them to have crowed early at 3 weeks old?
How do I figure out who it is if they don't crow when I decide to go watch them?


We also have 3 Buff Orpington pullets but one has a tail that's slightly curving so I'm kinda hoping it was the BO and not the Crested Polish. If it is the BO, I'll be happy to know that I was right this whole time about one of them being a cockerel.

I once had a black copper Marans cockerel who crowed at 3 weeks.

Definitely possible.
Have a 1-2 week old trying to crow this week.
