Is there a way to safely fast track heat weaning?? I'm making the big move to the coop tomorrow, my oldest should have been out a month ago but my youngest is a week. I'm going to keep them together during the day (it's 30 basically everyday, 86 F) and I'm going to bring my week old and 2-3 week olds in at night, but is there a safe way to fast track heat weaning so they can stay with the rest over night or is it just not worth it to try? I was reading the less heat they have the quicker they'll feather but I don't want to risk making them sick or anything
Heihei our little cockerel is 4 weeks and I think he'll almost be ready for overnights

Diamond and rainbow are 2 weeks and nowhere near ready but their wing and tail feathers are coming in nicely

Little ebony is a week and just starting her wing and tail feathers

So ya, is there any truth to fast track heat weaning so maybe I can get them out a week or so sooner? Or just do it properly and bring them in everynight for the next 5-6 weeks

Night time temps still dip down to 10(50?F) somenights so they'd have to be completely weaned of heat to stay out at night.. I do like the idea of the wooly hen! That was a great read, there would be 10 total, the coon is 32 square feet (plus an upper level of roosts) so I might be able to make one of these just big enough for the 4 littles and put it in there and give it a try
