I've got no idea of whether you should wrap again, just wanted to say well done for wrapping in the first place !

Thank you! You can tell I am a first time duck owner .. I had no idea that was a thing until you guys brought it up. Having this application helps a lot. Just want what’s best for my too little munchkins

Regarding your duck possibly being overweight, it is impossible to tell from photos because of feathers. I actually thought my pekin was overweight several years ago, because she walked slower, waddled more, and was poofier than my other ducks. But I took her to the vet and they told me she was quite thin!

The way to tell is by feeling the breast on either side of the keel bone, and how concave or rounded it is. Though without comparison that might not be very helpful.

I think you pekin duckling looks fine! He/she is still growing so I wouldn't worry about weight until she/he is grown up. Good luck on the angel wing!

I have pekings and all of mine looked like that at that stage. Pekings are just built bigger to put on weight. You will be fine.

Pekings just look thicker. I hope I can get a pic of my adult pekings to show you.

Now for the other one with the angel wing patient, my own case of angel wing on a duckling looks just like that with how the wing tips are coming out.

So I hope someone can tell us how to splint this? The internet says you are supposed to somehow tape up the wings or splint them somehow, but I don't know which way you'd do that. Plus, if they are growing pretty fast still, I bet its possible to tape them up and then they grow fat and smother themselves.

Its lucky you asked about the peking, so we can figure out your angel wing problem.

When I looked up angel wing...if left unchecked it can look really gross in the more extreme cases. (Sorry to tell you this.) Although not all mild cases would go extreme.

Great work on repurposing of the dog harness thingy ! Looks like it worked a treat !
