I would love your thoughts on sexing these Olive eggers from Fat Hen Farms. Pea combs are tricky for me. They are 7 weeks and 5 days old.
The first (black) is a OE x OE and the second (blue) is a F1 “Broc” OE. Thank you!

First is a hen and I think the second one looks more like a rooster.

Are you deciding based on comb width? I’m trying to get better at sexing pea combs. Thank you for your answer!
Male pea combs often look like round little peas before the ridges develop.
They will have three large ridges.
And be wider, pinker, and overall just larger compared to the females.
Now, I can‘t say for certain on either.
But those are educated assessments.
The pea on the male-ish one has lots of space behind it. Room to grow?

These are pics of the second chick’s full sibling who is definitely looking like a cockerel. Is mine a late bloomer? My chick is 5 days older.

Ooh.
Well, then.
Maybe that one above ( the blue in the first post ) really is a female.
I think you’ll just have to wait until they’re older.
The first is almost definitely a pullet, the middle is a big ?, and the third is a boy.
