I've had three birds go broody and "gather" eggs that one. I once had a BO (while not having a Turken rooster, but two Turken hens) hatch out 4 half Turken chicks and 1 BO cross chick.that looks ridiculous! i have a bantam who does that, maybe they want to lay their eggs in a nest box with eggs already in it
Some of my Ameraucanas do the same thing. I seem to find the majority of eggs in one box & often catch 2 at a time in one box. Silly girls![]()

Some of my Favorelles seem to enjoy cuddling with any hen or roo they find.it's really funny when i find my bantam in the same nest box as one of my buff orpingtons! she seems like she is trying to hide under the orpington's feathers!![]()
I've got several hens of the "peck first, ask questions later" persuasion. I keep my hands OUT of the nest box when it's occupied. That's hilarious to catch of pic of the craziness!!!Mine do this as well.![]()

I always feel sorry for the bottom lady.
If I happen to be in the coop at the time, I'll usually lift the last girl and place her in her own nest, just to end the silliness...lol.
May I ask, what is the top cinnamon colored hen's breed? @Arztwolf
Ohhhh...I reread your post. She's a Buff Orpington?
that is a very handsome rooster!
