Will do but couldn’t hurt to start finding a home now just incase

I'm about 95% sure you have a handsome little cockerel on your hands. Faverolles' plumage color is highly gender specific - pullets are generally much lighter, while cockerels feather in mostly black.

The other 5% of me is unsure because it seems as though hatchery Faverolles pullets are progressively becoming darker and darker.

I hope so! I've decided to keep my Faverolles over the unexpected Delaware cockerel I ended up with.

He seems to be feather developing like a cockerel too. I would say cockerel.
