Faverolles, pullets?

The first one is the one that concerned me the most based on its comb, but I've also heard that Faverolles tend to mature faster than other breeds (just not my Faverolles, haha)...so I wouldn't make any bets just yet. Are you able to keep any cockerels if they do turn out that way? I've heard Faverolles roos are really wonderful gentlemen, and all three of your babies are so beautiful.

I am not, the city doesn’t allow it. I’m a little sad cuz originally I had no problem as I didn’t want one but now I’m kind of wanting a man for the ladies.

Oh I totally understand. I had never intended to get any roosters but I ended up with EIGHT accidental cockerels and fell in love! I now have brought that down to a more manageable three cockerels (and got more pullets to allow me to keep them balanced!) and I'm so glad I got them. If I didn't have toddlers I would absolutely start a rooster rescue.

It's just awful that so many cities don't allow roosters. I really hope all the rallying folks have been doing is making a difference.

Yes!!! I think there are so many places that should be allowed and aren’t. To be fair our lots are smaller and I do believe some people would be very bothered by crowing, but I’m bothered by other people’s dogs barking all day and that doesn’t get resolved so I feel Ike roosters should be fair game! Ha

One day I think we will end up living outside city limits where we can have roosters, although where I’m at city limits is far from actual city so we would have to move far away. But who knows, a girl can dream! Ha

I think all three are pullets, but are you sure they're pure faverolle? Faverolles are usually much lighter in colour, and these girls seem closer to salmon than the other colours

Yes, I mean they aren’t show or breeder quality but purchased from Murray McMurray. I guess they could be mixed but I think the color is the only thing that is off, although idk much.
