Faverolles?????

1. Do favarolles look like buff silkie chicks except yellow legged?

2. Are favarolles broody?

hrmmmm Ok at tsc they had a bin full of straightrun bantys


so I notice some silkies, and snatched them up. They were buffs. When I went to do the 5 toe check on number 4 (of the 7) it was a 5 toed yellow legged "silky". the other 6 were black skinned. So since silkies can only have black skinned I was perplexed on what this silkie imposter was. Favarolles chicks were the closest looking to me.

It might be a clean legged silkie, it's from a hatchery. You will have better luck figuring out what it is by posting pics in the "What Breed/Gender Section"

its not clean legged. it has feathers and a beard, just white legs and white (yellow) beak. looked like a silkie chick but wrong skin color.

Maybe it's a sultan? They're white, bearded, feather legged, and have 5 toes.
