Hello Everyone! I have a bit of an odd question to ask, and Google hasn't been very helpful. I had a broody hatch out a few chicks on July 1st, and this one is a standout. It's parents are a salmon favorelle mom, and a brahma/RIR/americauna dad. I was excited to see the extra toe from the chicks momma, but I noticed an abnormality on the right foot, I believe this baby has 6 toes? They appear to be fused, but there's definitely a 6th toenail in the mix. It's not causing any problems, I just thought it was interesting and figured I'd share with y'all 😊 Has anyone else seen this before? Also, is there any chance this may be a pullet? I have my suspicions, but I'd love a little girl so I can keep her for my own flock. It's a couple days shy of 4 weeks old and is one of the more reserved of It's 9 siblings. Thank you in advance!

Beautiful chick. But by your description,, I would be guessing PULLET.
but I noticed an abnormality on the right foot,
Things happen like this in many living things. I remember loooooong ago, a classmate in grammar school showed me he had 6 toes on each foot. I'm sure others could come up with other abnormalities as well.

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :highfive:
