Favorite bird to roast?

Not a lot of experience...but for roasting I love a heritage turkey, spanish black is what I did yesterday and it was simply amazing.

I got a dozen fertilized goose eggs from a friend, and raised them to be pond geese. But after they got to be about 8 months old, they started trying to dominate our pond. My wife said they had to go. I decided they weren't going anywhere further than our freezer.

I processed them and then I took them to our butcher and had them smoked. They were shockingly good.

all cooking forms lend them selves better to one bird or another, I'm currently "crowing"

about my heritage turkey, it really was amazing, but turkey once a year is enough for me (I like to keep it special).
so for roasting, hands down 8 or 9 week old CX.
