Favorite Book\Book Character

Dirk Pitt - he is a terrific character! I think I would like to know his pal Al as well

Favorite book - very tough to select - but I think "A Prayer for Owen Meany" is one of the best books of the 20th Century.
Favorite character - Winnie the Pooh

Miles Vorkosigan, Lois McMaster Bujold's books. Love this character!!!!! Her fiction is definitely character driven and he is my favorite of all of her characters; followed closely by his cousin Ivan.

Elinor Dashwood, Sense and Sensibility, Jane Austen

Anne Shirley, Anne of Green Gables et al, L. M. Montgomery

Favorite books are too many but any Louis L'amour western always has a main character to "ride the river with" or if your like me fall in love with.esp them Sacketts!!!!

Too hard to decide. Too many books. Too many characters.

I've read a number of suspense/mystery books where the character continues from book to book. As you read the books, the character becomes like a friend or member of the family that visits with you every now and then.

So many choices, so hard to choose one! But, when I was much younger I adored the Laura Ingalls Wilder books (all of them)! Favorite Character: Half Pint!!!

Those are all great! How about Stephanie Plum, Alex Delaware, Steve Carella, Spencer, . . .

So hard to choose just one- I love Jane Austen- all the books, but Persuasion is my favorite. And I love Guy Gavriel Kay's books- especially the Fionavar Tapestry and Tigana. And, and, and - too many to pick just one- but I always return/reread Louisa May Alcott- one of the books hardly anyone knows, called "An Old Fashioned Girl" and Polly is one of my favorite characters.
