Since I’ve had them they’ve free ranged... I haven’t had any issues as far as predators with them. Sorry for your losses

We have a fox that lives ligit like on the next property so it knows where we keep our poor little chooks. So our silkies are locked up, while the rest free range cause the dogs are there

I haven’t had enough experience with many breeds, but I think my faves are d’Uccles and Easter eggers
I like silkies and polish too, but they are really dumb and much less predator savvy lol
