Here's a weird question: I have a small flock of 5 chickens. My favorite "Nugget" (as in golden
laid an egg every day since the day I got her 3 months ago. Then, I left for vacation. Apparently, that was it for her. She hasn't laid an egg since then. It's been two weeks. Can chickens get depressed? I know it threw her routine off a little, having my mother feed them and her being treated like everyone else
. But surely, that can't be it! We wormed the whole flock before we left with both Wazine, and 3 weeks later with Ivermectin, due to a couple of the hens being severely infected. Maybe that threw her off. Does anyone have any other suggestions? How about any ideas for how to get her going again? Thanks!
