Favorite hatchery?

My only hatchery experience was with Ridgeway Hatcheries in LaRue, Ohio about a month ago. Very friendly and accommodating with my needs (I picked up my birds). I asked for a tour of the facility and got a strange look because no one ever asked to see it, and they said sure and showed me around. I would not be afraid of doing business with them again. Very cool incubators and I got to see some ducks, pheasants, and quails just hatched while I was there.

My only complaint is that they list Araucanas but they are really EE's (common among hatcheries so I understand). Still wouldn't have changed my order though, just think it should be corrected.

- Would definitely recommend!
#1. Very friendly, ordered by phone, they answered every time.
#2. Very healthy and vigorous, ordered 21 got one extra of one of the breeds that I ordered, no casualties.
#3. Not old enough
#4. Type and Feathering seem to be very accurate so far.
I would order from them again.

As an added bonus for Cackle, they do allow you to purchase minimums of 15 chicks, even bantams.

The chicks are here from Meyer and they are happy peeping little fluff balls! They seem very healthy. We took them out and gave them sugar water and all are drinking and eating fine. I think I got almost all girls though. Now to find homes for some of them!

Edited to add: we got 26 chicks instead of 25 and they were well packaged in a tough container.
