At age of 16 last April gave birth to her 1st foal. Kendal a filly and now a yearling is 2 inches shorter than her mom at 15 1/2 hands.
I Was told that Big Sis's Mom Beauty was 17 hands,,,

Arabians are VERY smart, and some people do not understand them. It mainly comes down to, you have to be smarter than what you are working with.

I don't think that's really why some people do or don't get along with arabs. We've had some great arabs and some really dumb arabs. We've had some extremely smart quarter horses that require alot of effort to stay one step ahead of and some that were so stupid I compared them to sheep. It more comes down to hot versus cold temperaments. My reining mare does not get excited over anything and she never overreacts. She's a stubborn block and sometimes I actually feel bad for how hard I have to be on her to get her to behave and work. My 2yr old barrel filly I'm starting this fall is hot. She is always excited and reacts strongly to everything. If I used the same amount of force on her as I do on my reining mare she'd go through a fence or side of the stall. I'd be untangling her from the rails of my round pen. Different horses take an entirely different approach and most people aren't adaptable and patient enough to figure out how to handle each individual horse properly. If they were raised around hot horses they can handle hot horses but don't know what to do with a lazy cool tempered breed. They just seem slow and stupid for not reacting to their commands. If they were raised around the cooler breeds that take more effort especially physically to get them to work they think the hotter ones are just flighty and stupid for over reacting and getting themselves injured.

Is it right to own QH's and like Tennessee Walkers best? LOL

I had never met a QH before I moved here, and it seems to me that they are very good at figuring out how not to do something compared to other breeds. We live on a ranch with nothing but QHs, and dozens of them. My favourite ponies growing up were a Connemara and a Welsh Cob.
